What we do
When a borrower defaults on a loan, banks and financial institutions in India are legally required to publish public notices before auctioning the mortgaged property to recover their dues. These notices are real, and the properties are often priced well below market value, but they are scattered across dozens of individual bank websites and newspaper notices, making them genuinely hard to find.
Auction Mandi compiles these publicly available auction notices into one searchable directory, with filters for state, city, property type, and price range, so that bidders, investors, and buyers do not have to comb through dozens of separate sources.
How the listings work
Each listing on this site is built from the underlying facts in the original public sale notice: property type, approximate size, location, bank name, reserve price, and auction date. We do not reproduce the original legal notice text; instead we present a plain-language summary and point bidders to the bank's official sale notice for exact survey numbers, boundaries, and legal specifics before they bid.
Listings are refreshed periodically. Auction dates, reserve prices, and availability can change or be withdrawn by the bank at any time, so always confirm current details directly with the auctioning bank before making any payment.
Who we are not
Auction Mandi is an independent, informational platform. We are not a bank, not a lender, not an asset reconstruction company, and we do not conduct auctions ourselves or collect bids. We do not charge banks or bidders to appear on or use this site.
